Kelowna weather: Storms, smoky skies, high chance of showers

There’s a high chance of storms in Kelowna today.

Environment Canada is forecasting the strong possibility of rough weather all morning, afternoon and into the evening.

The temperature high is predicted to be about 31ºC.

Rain is highly likely, according to the meteorology office.

A special air quality statement also remains in place for Kelowna due to smoke from wildfires.

Overnight, we can expect dry weather, partly cloudy skies and a low of about 16ºC.
