Kelowna weather: Pushing 30°C under sunny skies

The weekend is nearly upon us and it’s going to be a beautiful one weather-wise.

It kicks off with another sunny day today as we push up to a high of 29°C.

Once again, we’ll get a little wind this afternoon, but it won’t be as strong or last as long as what we’ve seen earlier in the week.

You can expect southwesterly winds (blowing northeast) of around 20 km/h between 3-8 pm.

Those winds will settle down around when the sun sets and pave the way for a calm, clear evening in the Central Okanagan.

The overnight low is 11°C.

Looking ahead, expect more sunny days and highs of 29°C and 25°C for the rest of the weekend.
