Kelowna weather: Mix of sun and cloud, showers later on

It will be a cloudy start to the day in the Kelowna area, but the sun will try to make an appearance.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud beginning around 9 am and stretching into the afternoon.

More clouds will roll in mid-afternoon and you can expect a wet evening, with showers in the forecast from 5 pm onwards.

We’ll hit our projected high of 4°C early this afternoon.

The chance of rain decreases from near 100% to nil shortly before midnight and we’re in for a partly cloudy night and start to Saturday.

Looking ahead at the weekend forecast, you can expect similar forecasts to today with highs of 4°C and some showers.
