Kelowna weather: Final day of cold snap

For what looks to be the final day, freezing weather will continue on Friday.

Environment Canada's extreme cold warning remains in place.

We will see periods of snow, around five to 10 cm throughout the day.

Wind gusts upwards of 15 km/h will hit the city, with a daytime high set for -13°C.

The windchill will make it feel like -24°C in the morning and -17°C in the afternoon.

Overnight, expect more flurries but some warmer weather of -10°C.

Environment Canada warns of frostbite again today, so be sure to bundle up.

Temperatures should drop to -4°C by Christmas, providing normal weather for the holidays.
