Here are your June weather stats for Kelowna

June is almost through, so let’s take a look back on what was a bit of a hectic month weather wise.

It should be noted that because the story is being written today, this data doesn’t include the final two days of the month.

It also doesn’t include data from June 14 and 15, as there is missing data for those two days.

Nevertheless, the data provided by NowMedia meteorologist paints a fairly clear picture of what we experienced over the last four weeks or so.

For the most part, June was pretty on par with historical averages (between 1981 and 2010) temperature wise, but it fell a little short when it came to rain.

“Although it may seem like it has been cool this month, keep in mind we did have a stretch of over 30 degree weather from June 17 to 21, with June 19 being the warmest day this month at 34.2°C,” English explained.

“On the other hand, we also had several days of daytime highs in the mid to upper teens this month, with June 10th being the coolest day this month topping at only 16.7°C.”

So without further adieu, here are the June numbers for daytime highs, daytime lows and rainfall, but with four days of missing data, take them with a grain of salt!
