For the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic began, Kelowna Rockets players will be handing out the jerseys off their backs tonight.
It will be part of Fan Appreciation Night as the Rockets welcome the Vancouver Giants to town for their final regular season game of the season.
Along with the return of the popular jersey giveaway after the game, the organization has a few special things planned to make it a memorable night at Prospera Place.
Tickets are just $10 for kids 12 and under and there will be savings for adults as well in the form of the Fan First Menu.
The initiative, new this season, is typically only for games between Monday and Wednesday, but it will be in place for the Saturday night finale.
That means $2 hot dogs and $5-6 options from Pabst Blue Ribbon.
You can also expect live music before and during the game courtesy of The Hip Replacements, the very popular local Tragically Hip tribute band.
Fans in attendance can also get a poster of the 2022-23 team photo and, of course, the chance to be one of the lucky recipients of a jersey off the back of one of the Rockets players.
Puck drop is at 7:05 pm and you can still secure your tickets online, by phoning 250-762-5050 or in-person at the Prospera Place box office.
