(UPDATE: May 13 @ 4:05 pm ) – The family of a man who was reported missing earlier this week says he has been found.
Aaron Fleur de Lys, 32, was last seen in the 1800 block of Pandosy Street around 9 pm on Monday.
His family reached out to KelownaNow on Saturday stating that they had located him.
“It doesn't look like his info has been updated yet. He has been found. Thank you for getting his info out there,” says his family in a statement.
KelownaNow has reached out to the RCMP for confirmation.
(Original story: May 10 @ 10:35 am) – The Kelowna RCMP is turning to the public as it tries to locate a missing ‘high-risk’ man in Kelowna.
Aaron Fleur de Lys, 32, was last seen in the 1800 block of Pandosy Street around 9 pm on Monday.
“It is believed that Aaron may be suffering from a medical condition which could put him in danger,” explained a Kelowna RCMP release.
“Aaron is not believed to be a danger to the public, however, his recent behaviour has caused concern for friends and family regarding his personal well-being.”
Fleur de Lys is described as a 5’11”, 170 lbs Caucasian man with brown hair and brown eyes. Unfortunately, no clothing description is available at this time.
Police did say that the missing man could have access to his vehicle, which is a Dodge Journey with BC licence plates SP029V. The car is missing its front bumper.
Anyone with information on Fleury de Lys’ whereabouts is urged to immediately call 911.
