Despite a bit of rain, people flocked to the annual Father’s Day Car Show at Kelowna’s City Park last weekend.
The show is done for another year, but the associated Car Raffle in support of the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) of Kelowna is still open.
Tickets are $25, or five for $100, and can be purchased either online or at one of several in-person pop-up sales events over the course of the summer.
On Aug. 29, a draw will be made and one lucky ticket holder will win a 2019 Lexus IS 300.

In 2023, the raffle raised $50,000 for the CYAC’s work with vulnerable children and youth who have survived abuse and neglect.
The CYAC ensures that Central Okanagan kids have access to wraparound services to support their complete recovery.
Since the car was generously donated as a prize, all proceeds from ticket sales will support the CYAC’s important work.
“For an organization whose work is difficult and complex, the Raffle and Car Show are such fun and important ways for us to engage with the community and raise money and awareness for our cause,” said Ginny Becker, CYAC executive director.
“The team at Lift Auto Group and CSN are such incredible supporters of the Centre and we are so grateful to have them in our corner!”
