Fall edition of Small Shop Weekend returns to downtown Kelowna

Small Shop Weekend is returning to downtown Kelowna this weekend.

The event kicks off on Friday and will last until Sunday, Sept. 22, the Downtown Kelowna Association says.

The three-day promotional event celebrates and highlights different small businesses and encourages people to shop and support local businesses.

There will be special events, in-store specials and a special Shop Local & Win contest.

To enter, shoppers will visit the contest entry page where they can upload a copy of their receipt for a minimum $10 purchase made at any Small Shop participating location.

Shoppers who drive Downtown can enjoy the first two hours of on-street parking free in Downtown Kelowna on Saturday. However, anything after that will require payment with the exception of the city’s three parkades.

Pay parking is in effect on Friday and, of course, free on Sunday.
