Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson Kelowna invites you to test their metal

Calling all Motorcycle enthusiasts! If you’re still holding onto riding season or dreaming of next year, Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson Kelowna is hosting an event you won’t want to miss.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, the shop is opening their doors and inviting the community to not only drool over but to try the latest and greatest machinery that Harley-Davidson has to offer at their Test Our Metal event.

“If you’ve always wondered about a Harley-Davidson, testing one of these beauties will give you a glimpse into what riding one is like,” said Alexandra Turner, Marketing Manager for Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson Kelowna.

Of course, they don’t want to hurt your beloved steed’s feelings, but, the event aims to offer new and seasoned riders a day to learn about the new technologies and equipment behind some of the sportier 2019 models.

“The freedom is yours. Ride to feel the bike, ride for fun, ride to compare models, whatever your desire for taking a Harley-Davidson out, it’s yours,” added Turner.

Whether you’ve been riding for years or are just getting started, the event provides and opportunity to rip and rev like never before.

“My favourite part of the event is watching people come back from trying the bikes out and seeing 'the biker glow,'" says Turner.

Ripping around on a ride of that magnitude can work up quite the appetite, but don’t worry, there will be lunch available.

For $5 you and your crew can indulge in a classic BBQ burger or smokie all the while raising funds for the local Harley Owners Group and the events they host for our Okanagan riding community.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. on Oct. 6 and carries on until 4 p.m. All you need to bring is yourself, your bike license and riding gear!
