Five types of laundry pods are being recalled due to potential damage to the child-resistant packaging.
The recall includes four types of Tide PODS and one type of Gain Flings.
In the recall issued Friday, Health Canada says over 56,700 units of the affected products were sold across Canada between September 2023 and February 2024.

“The recalled product’s packaging has the potential to be affected by a manufacturing defect,” the application says.
“This defect renders the child-resistant packaging damaged or inoperable. The lack of child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness or injury.”
