Linda Cunningham is a proud dual citizen of Canada and Wales and feels very fortunate to be living her passion by working as a photographer in the Okanagan Valley. Her business is Linda Cunningham Photography and she seeks to create beautiful imagery, using the art of photography, to create memories that last a lifetime. Her photographic style is both candid and contemporary and she loves to photograph on location, working in all areas of photography including portraiture, architecture, corporate headshots, travel, sport, pets ... everything except weddings! Linda was the Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Foundation in Southern Alberta and still cares deeply about children who live with life-threatening illnesses. She donates her photography to give back to charitable organizations whenever she can. Today Linda and Linda Cunningham Photography are In Focus.

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
My Aunt Jean, who is living with a type of Alzheimer's disease. She is like a second mum to me and I would love to spend one full day with her again when her mind was as it used to be so that she would know, once again, how much she is loved and thought of every day. This disease not only breaks the mind of people you love, but it breaks a piece of your heart as you watch it happening to them .
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
Travel Photographer of the Year
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
I would spend the day photographing Princess Diana with her son William and her grandson George – capturing the spirit of them all together, pure joy!
Who inspires you?
Positive people who see the glass half full and children who live with life-threatening illnesses every day
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
I have been fortunate to complete several bucket lists in my life, however, 3 things still left on my list are ..
I would like to own a Beach House, visit Reims (the champagne region of France) and go on a photographic tour of Burma

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
Bouchons, the service is awesome, the food is always amazing and I feel like I am in Paris every time I go there. PS: Their bread is to die for!
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
Paddleboarding ... it is the most relaxing way to enjoy the outstanding beauty of Okanagan Lake and your abs get a great work out at the same time
