His startup business StreetText is a service for realtors and mortgage brokers that streamlines the connection between them and real estate buyers - at the exact time they are most interested in buying real estate. Buyers can text or access a QR code on the topper of for sale signs when they are driving by a house in order to get instant information about it. Everything in life is about adding value
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
Bono, I think he would have a very interesting perspective and handle on life.
If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
I have no idea, but even being nominated for Best Entrepreneur of the year was pretty cool. I wouldn’t mind winning that in the future.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Jesus, if he is only half of what is recorded he would rock anyone's World.
Who inspires you?
My close friends, I am in awe of what they have accomplished to date.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Sail across an Ocean, swim with a shark (Fear of mine), learn a second language.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
Perseverance
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
My death, it sure would put things into perspective.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my family, technology and business in general.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
Riding a motorbike back to Jeffreys Bay (where I spent my childhood holidays) in South Africa in 2010. The sun was going down and everything just made sense, and I knew life was about to enter a new season.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
For sure marrying my wife...still in awe.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna?
Raudz What do you like about it? The local food, and the vibe.
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna?
The Apple Triathlon. Why? I have only done it once but for me it is a great goal to work towards every year.

The market we entered was entirely new, there were no forerunners, only fellow pioneers.

Innovation, perseverance and flexibility. Innovation is the core of our business. Perseverance and flexibility have also gone hand in hand in helping us overcome the challenges of any startup to reach post revenue.
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
A company is nothing without its employees. Ours have done a phenomenal job giving their best and sacrificing many hours to help create the company we have today.

We provide Real Estate buyers a better way to access instant Real Estate information.

Real Estate. Why? I want to align myself with all the best people in the industry, because we believe technology can be used to make Real Estate transactions better.
