Gwenda Tempel strongly believes that we can be happy in our lives. She is a public speaker and through her business Universal Principles teaches people how to live in the present and access joy in their lives. She is passionate about coaching people to become their Best Self through exercising the power of the laws at work all around us. Her premise is that knowing how to use these Universal Principles benefits us greatly at any age or stage of our life. If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
I had better say my Husband Duane and Kyro our dog and the why should be obvious.

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Albert Einstein, I would say Jesus but I feel He walks with me every day. Albert Einstein’s quotes are magnificent and always resonate with me. Math has all the answers and I do not know math, he gave us
E = mc2. plus he seemed to have great humour.
Who inspires you?
There are many, some are:
Albert Einstein, Deepak Chopra, David Hawkins, Arnold Patent, and
Curt & Gertrude Darmohray of Kelowna.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Become a sought after speaker.
Having a home on the lake.
Going up in a hot air balloon.

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
PARADISE!!!
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
October 25 2051; I think I would be 90 years old (I said I don’t do math well) I could look back on life with no regrets.
What are you passionate about?
Teaching people to access their Best Self. To live life to the fullest. To make the world a better place.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
Today.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Although I am not sure I can take credit; my children.
Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
There are so many but if I have to pick one, BASKET CASE PICNICS which is kind of a trick because they will deliver that best food to you anywhere!
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
I love PARKS ALIVE! They have great entertainment and atmosphere.
You can decide to go on the spur of the moment and it features our beautiful climate, outdoors and togetherness.

What does your business/organization do?
I give lectures or classes. Most of my presentations are on PowerPoint and provide for all types of learners, audio, visual, kinaesthetic. I enjoy questions and interaction but can also just give a humorous and greatly informative presentation.

I do lectures or classes cost depending but about $500.00 or $35.00 per person.
Truth be known when you are this passionate about something you would do it for free! (shhh)
I bring great energy to the room and have been told this by students in my class.
Being highly complimented of course gives me more passion and the desire to do even better.
Whether it is Peak Performance , leadership, teamwork, Self Awareness and Esteem, these teachings are for all ages from young and at school to business for improvement of the company or Seniors and more enjoyment in life.
It all boils down to the same things. Universal Principles are working for us whether we know how to use them or not. They are the way in which the law of attraction works. Knowing how to use them benefits us greatly at any age or stage of our life.

We lived off grid for a time and I find it hard to want to get back on.
What is your mission?
Living on the Leading Edge
My mission is to be of service. To provide a loving atmosphere and to let others know who they really are.
Albert Einstein said “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
My mission is to change that. To remind people of the gift.
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
Gratitude, when people are grateful to me for something I have said or something they have felt that is not only a great achievement, that is success to me.
Where do you want your business/organization to be in 5 years?
I want to be well known, sought after, highly respected and loved.
Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
This work is on the leading edge of awareness; one of the first principles being that all that we see and feel is energy. Bruce Lipton’s epigenetic studies shows us scientifically. Many Historians have said the same things in different ways “We are leading edge creators”
What 3 qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
I teach in a way that is easy to understand, fun lighthearted and accepting of all
What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
I have none right now but I would like to say to the employees of every business in Kelowna “I see you” “You are important” ‘You are special” “You are perfect”
I believe leadership is communicating to people their worth and potential so clearly that they come to see it in themselves. Give me a chance to talk to your employees.
How does your business/organization impact the community?
People all over are hungry for a message of Truth, Possibility and Guidance;
THIS IS IT! I have been teaching “Live better – Have Fun” at Kelowna SLR and people are having fun. That is what I hope to bring to Kelowna residents, more Fun. The realization of what we have and the gratefulness to raise to a higher life of gratitude.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
“TEACH ME” is what I would say. How do you invest? What are your passions? Tell me about your life. And can anyone fix this elevator?

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Kelowna is a beautiful combination of lush and desert, mountain and big sky, beaches, lakes and great weather. Why would you go anywhere else?
