Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
Born in Winnipeg, spent most of my adult life in Vancouver, been living in Kelowna about 12 years.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My son Josh. We work together and he makes me laugh pretty much everyday.
What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Opus art supplies, cause... I'm an artist.
Describe yourself in one word.
Artistic.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
The Vatican to see the Sistine Chapel.
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Seeing live bands at the Gator and O'Flannigans.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
My pants fell down on stage once.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
When I was directing the animated series Voltron Force I travelled to the Philippines and worked with the animation crew there. Some of them came from pretty serious poverty but they never saw themselves as victims. Every day they had a smile on their faces and worked harder and put in longer hours than just about anyone else I've ever met.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Playing on stage when I was 13 with my first band.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I've always mentored young artists.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I know it sounds trite but I'd like no more war.
Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
My studio.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
I'd like there to be more places for bands to play. I love the effect live music has on people and we need more of it in Kelowna.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
the beaches right in the city ain't to shabby.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Travel to Space.
Win an academy award for Directing.
Get super powers.

What is the name of your business/organization?
Komixstream
Why did you get into/start this business?
I saw an opportunity to combine elements from all the various disciplines and skills I have and fold them together into something special.
What is the goal of your business?
World domination of course.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Making time for all things.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I'm pretty happy with how things are going.
What do you always find yourself saying?
"You're much stronger than you think."
Tell us your best piece of life advice.
Don't step on any one's fingers on your way up the ladder of success you may need their help on the way down.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Bono.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
I like to support Mom and Pop shops. I love entrepreneurs.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Drawing Superman for DC Comics.

George Michail, He's my editorial assistant and a great writer but for most of his adult life he has worked with mentally challenged people and has one of the biggest hearts I know. Awesome guy!!
