Behold: The World's Longest, Useable Golf Club

A Danish man has made his way into the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the world’s longest useable golf club.

Karsten Maas, 49, is officially in the 2015 edition of the World Records for his golf club which is a whopping 14.5 feet in length. Testing the club out for the Guinness officials at the “Golf in the Wall” in Wall, Germany, Maas showed off his talents driving the ball 542 feet.

Maas, who is a professional golfer, says that although he is very proud of his record breaking club, there isn’t much chance it will be seen on the green in the future.

“The weight and length of the club make striking the ball really exhausting,” Maas joked to Guinness. “Plus I don’t have a caddy!”

The 60th edition of the Guinness World Records is now available at all major retailers.
