Andrew Cristall’s season will continue in the AHL and Tij Iginla’s season will continue overseas.
A day after the Rockets leading point scorer was reassigned to the Hershey Bears, the club’s leading goal scorer has been added to a new roster as well.
Tij Iginla will head overseas to join Team Canada at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship. He’s the final addition to the 25-man roster.

For Iginla, it’s one final on-ice opportunity to improve his stock ahead of the 2024 NHL entry draft in June.
He’s already a projected first-round pick, ranked ninth overall among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting, after scoring 47 goals and 84 points in 62 regular season WHL games this year.
The U18 World Championship is set to take place in Finland from April 25 until May 5.
Canada is in a group with Sweden, Czechia, Switzerland and Kazakhstan, and will begin the tournament against the Swedes at 9 am PDT on Thursday.
